Clare’s Coastal Communities To Be Worst Hit As Severe Or Damaging Gusts Forecast For Today

Coastal communities in Clare are set to be worst hit, as bad weather batters the county today.

The entire country has been placed on a status yellow wind and rain warning, which will remain in place until 9 o’ clock tonight.

Met Éireann says there’s potential for “localised wave overtopping along Atlantic coasts”, with heavy rain also forecast, which could lead to flooding in some areas across the county and elsewhere.
