Clare Commuters Warned Of Temperatures As Low As -6 Across County This Morning

Commuters across Clare are being warned of temperatures as low as minus six degrees in parts of the county this morning.

A status yellow snow and ice warning for Clare and the rest of the country remains in effect until 12 noon today.

Met Eireann is warning of icy stretches leading to hazardous travelling conditions, especially on untreated roads and paths, with the local authority committing to facilitating as many areas and routes as possible.
