Met Éireann has issued a low level status yellow weather alert for Clare.
The forecaster says winds associated with Storm Dudley will reach mean speeds of up to 65 kilometres per hour on Wednesday, with damaging gusts of up to 110kilometres per hour.

The winds will be stronger on exposed coasts and on high ground.
The warning is in effect from 12 noon on Wednesday until the same time on Thursday.
