A number of weapons and stolen goods have been seized by Gardaí in Ennis today.
As part of an ongoing operation targeting groups involved in criminal activity in the Midwest, plain clothed and uniformed Gardai from both the Limerick and Clare Garda Divisions, supported by the Armed Support and Southern Dog Units, searched a number of properties and land in the Ballymaley area.

In the course of searches, a number of slash hooks and pitch forks were seized along with stolen property including power tools.
A number of mobile phones were also seized.
Gardaí say there were no planned arrests in this phase of the operation.
