Water supply has been restored to the majority of homes and businesses in West Clare following outages on Sunday.
A burst main on the Old Doolough supply, led to disruptions for customers in in Miltown Malbay, Spanish Point, Quilty, Mullagh, Coore, Creegh, Cooraclare, Cahermurphy and surrounding areas.

Uisce Eireann says it deployed crews immediately to repair the but is advising it may take some time for normal supply to fully restore to all areas, especially for those on higher ground or at the end of the network.
Any consumers who experiences issues with discolouration are asked to run the cold water tap in the kitchen for a few minutes.
