Water Supply Disruption Expected Following Water Main Burst In South-East Clare

Members of the Limerick Fire Service attended the scene of a major water mains burst in South-East Clare last night.

The burst was reported just before 11 o’clock, when water began gushing out of the burst mains close to a petrol station on the R463 road near Shannon Banks in Corbally.

Fire personnel battled to divert water away from homes.

This morning Irish Water says repairs to the main may cause disruption to supply in Westbury and surrounding ares, but there is no update on when the issues are expected to be resolved.
