The Environmental Protection Agency says water quality at 11 bathing areas in Clare remains extremely high.
Tests at Ballyalla Lake, Ballycuggeran, Bishopsquarter, Cappagh Pier, Fanore, Kilkee, Lahinch, Mountshannon, Seafield, White Strand, Doonbeg and White Strand, Miltown Malbay all returned excellent results.
This marks a continuation of the county's pristine record in 2014.
A number of Irish beaches failed to meet minimum EU standards however, including Ballyloughane in Galway, Youghal in Cork, Duncannon in Wexford and Loughshinny, Rush South and Merrion Strand in Dublin.
