Expert water service crews have been dispatched and are carrying out the required repair works, with every effort being made to complete this work as quickly as possible.

In the meantime, an alternative water supply will be in available at Killaloe GAA pitch from 1.45pm on 12 April.

Uisce Eireann is reminding customers to bring their own containers when taking water from a tanker and to boil the water before consumption as a precautionary measure, as per advice from the HSE.

Works are scheduled to take place until 6pm. Following repair works, it typically takes three to four hours for normal supply to be fully restored to all areas as the water refills the network, especially for those on higher ground or at the end of the network.
