The water supply in large parts of Ennis will be disrupted overnight later this week.
Clare County Council, acting as agents for Irish Water, will carry out what they describe as essential improvement works to water mains.

This will affect supply, and perhaps lead to a loss of water, from 7pm on Tuesday night until 5am on Wednesday morning.
Homes and businesses on Lahinch Rd, Cusack rd, Mill rd, Carmody Street, Clare rd, Kilrush rd, Limerick rd, Ballybeg rd and Clarecastle will be affected.
