The flow of water from Parteen Weir is being reduced once again today in reposonse to a further drop in levels in Lough Derg.

ESB has confirmed that the level of discharge will be reduced to 300 cubic metres per second from 3 o'clock this afternoon and a review will take place again tomorrow morning.
But the power company is warning that this level of water flow continues to have associated flooding on land and property along the lower river Shannon including the Springfield area of Clonlara.
