Water Conservation Order For Clare And Rest Of Country Until End Of August

A Water Conservation Order has been announced for Clare and the rest of the country for the next month.

Uisce Éireann is asking customers across the country to conserve water from this Friday, July 24th, until Wednesday, August 26th.

Restrictions remain in place for Ennistymon, Lahinch, Liscannor, Doolin, Lisdoonvarna, Fanore, Ballyvaughan, Kilfenora and Kilshanny.

Uisce Éireann Operations Manger for Clare, Darragh Conneely, is asking everyone “to use only what they need and to avoid any non-essential water use until conditions improve”.
