Warning That Shannon Could Be Badly Affected By Brexit

It’s claimed Shannon Airport could be badly hit by Brexit – because of an over reliance on flights to the UK.

Shannon Fianna Fáil Councillor Pat McMahon is calling for an information seminar to be run in the county so that locals are clued-in on the potential threat the British exit from the EU poses to the local economy.

Brexit negotiations are starting tomorrow in Brussels, but the UK has not yet confirmed what type of future relationship it wants with the EU after the process.
