Clare's County Dog Warden is warning of a wild boar on the loose near Maghera.

The animal was reported by man out walking his dog in the Ballinruane Hills, after the bore attacked his dogs and chased the man back to his car.
Frankie Coote believes someone may be responsible for breeding and releasing these animals into the wild in East Clare, with up to twenty similar incidents recorded in the past.
