Clare’s dog owners are being urged to correctly registered their pets.
It follows a number of incidents in recent months, which has caused complications for animal welfare centres in reuniting pets as the owners address in many cases is still listed abroad.

According to Clare’s County Dog Warden, the issue is prevalent in roughly one-fifth of microchipped pets.
