Clare’s County Dog Warden is warning owners dogs considered to be dangerous breeds, that they must be muzzled in public places.
It comes after a man was bitten by a German Shepherd in Shannon last Wednesday.

A man was near the Shopping Centre when he came across a woman walking the dog. He turned to walk in the other direction, after which he was bitten in the back.
Frankie Coote says an investigation is underway into the incident.
