Phone shop owners in Clare are being urged to stay on high alert, after similar businesses in neighbouring counties have been targeted by thieves using extraordinary tactics.
Criminals have rammed a car through the front of shops, and using military-like precision have taken thousands of euro worth of phones in under three minutes.

Shops in Limerick and Galway, as well as in Roscommon and Liffey Valley have been targeted.
