Representatives of IMPACT, SIPTU and ICTU are all attending the meeting in Dublin this morning – and will be seeking cast-iron guarantees about employment terms and conditions.
Willie Walsh says, if the takeover goes ahead, some jobs will be lost at Aer Lingus HQ due to duplication – but has promised hundreds more jobs among air crew and mechanics.
Despite that, a SIPTU spokesman has said unions are still sceptical.
