Vysochan Inquest

Over four years after his murder an inquest has opened and closed in the the death of South East Clare teenager Roman Vysochan.

Limerick Coroners Court head that the Ukrainian born 16 year old from Ashley Court, Westbury died as a result of a stab wound to the chest in May 2008.

Coroner Tony Casey  told the jury the appropriate verdict was one of murder.

Last month John O’Loughlin, formerly of Cecil Street Limerick -who was convicted in 2010 of the teen’s murder- lost an appeal against that conviction
