The Clare Electorate go to the polls today to vote in Ireland’s 9th President.
Over 180 polling booths across the county, including 8 in Limerick East opened at 7 this morning to allow people to cast their ballot in both the presidential election and for two referendum on the constitution.

Voters in Dublin West will also vote in a by-election to fill the seat left vacant by the death of Brian Lenihan.
Only Irish citizens can vote in these elections and polls will remain open until 10 o’ clock this evening with counting to begin at 9 Am tomorrow at the Clare Inn.
