Voting in Clare underway in Children’s referendum

Voting is underway in the Children’s Referendum right across the country and at 181 Polling Booths in County Clare.

Voters are being asked to tick the Yes or No Box depending on whether or not they’re in favour of a new constitutional article regarding the rights of children in Irish law.

Almost 80,000 people in Clare are elgible to vote, and voters can simply bring along official idenitification to their local polling centre if they haven’t recevied a polling card.

Clare Returning Officer Pat Wallace is reminding the public that they have up until 10 pm tonight to exercise their democratic right.
