Voting activity is picking up across clare as the ballot for the local and european elections continues.
Booths will remain open until 10 this evening and all eligible voters are reminded to bring a valid id with them.
At this stage of the day the polling station at Mullagh appears to be the busiest in Clare with 16 per cent of voters putting pencil to paper.
Quin is next on 15 per cent while Coore has received 14 per cent of those eligible as had Kilfenora. In Cloghleigh in Ennis there's 9 percent in one box with 10 per cent in the second. It's said to be very slow in Crusheen with only 6 per cent there.
Elsewhere Shannon's reported to have a turnout of almost 8 per cent with Miltown Malbay on 13.
Its said to be picking up at booths across the county with many expected to use their lunch hour to cast their ballot.
The Irish Youth Council is encouraging everyone in the 18 to 25 age category to avail of today's opportunity to have your say.
All polling stations will remain open until 10 tonight when boxes are all sealed they'll be transferred to the West County Hotel in Ennis.
