Visiting restrictions have been eased at Ennis Hospital following an outbreak of COVID-19 on both wards.
Hospital management say a small number of patients are affected and all appropriate infection prevention and control measures are being taken.

From today, patients are allowed one visitor per day during normal visiting hours.
Exemptions from the visiting restrictions continue to apply on compassionate grounds for patients who are critically ill or at end-of-life, and for people assisting confused patients and all exemptions will be assesed on a case-by-case basis.
