Strict visiting restrictions have been put in place at Ennis General Hospital following an outbreak of the winter vomiting bug.
Two cases of the bug have been confirmed at the hospital, while another four patients are suspected of having the virus.
Hospital management are restricting visiting to one visitor per patient, while no visiting will be allowed to affected patients in the Fergus Ward for the next 48 hours.
Families of the patients affected have been informed, and infection control measures are in place.
