The Chair of the Visit East Clare group believes tourism demand in that area of the county has continued to increase this summer.

It’s understood the East Clare Greenway project is also continuing to progress, with route options being explored in the past number of months.
Arlene White says both staycationers and international visitors are now taking in the likes of Holy Island, Mountshannon and other areas.
