VFI Says Current Guidelines Not Viable For Pubs

The Clare Chair of the Vintners Federation of Ireland fears current guidelines will result in many pubs remaining closed on August 10th.

It comes as a report from the Licensed Vintners Association and the VFI has revealed that capacity in some pubs may drop by 87% with 2-metre social distancing.

Under current guidelines, the maximum capacity for every 100 square metres in a pub would be 25 people.
