The Green Party says it doesn’t expect to fill its soon-to-be-vacant seat on Clare County Council until October.
Miltown Malbay-based representative Susan Crawford’s resignation will become effective from next week having been announced last month.

The Green Party has told Clare FM it has began what it describes as ‘an internal process’ to select a candidate to co-opt the seat.
It says it intends to propose a candidate at October’s full Council meeting, which means the seat will be vacant for September’s gathering.
