Democrats in the US are preparing for their national convention which takes place in Philadelphia today.
So far it has been shrouded in controversy over leaked emails into corruption within the party that led to Hillary Clinton becoming the nominee.
In what was supposed to be a far more united front than the show put on by republican's at their national convention in Cleveland last week, the democrats have been rocked by another scandal over emails.
This time a leak by on-line whistle blower website wikileaks has revealed the content of thousands of emails showing Democrat HQ actively favouring Hillary Clinton over her closest rival Bernie Sanders during the primaries.
The revelations have led to the swift resignation of the party chair Wasserman Schultz.
Bernie Sanders is still expected to give the keynote address endorsing Clinton late tonight.
