The secretary of a Shannon Community Hall is urging people in the locality to roll in together to keep the facility functional.
The Tullyvarraga Hall is the last remaining community hall in Shannon and urgently needs volunteers to join the committee to ensure its future.

An urgent meeting is being held there this evening at 7pm in a last ditch attempt to save the hall from closure.
Secretary and spokesperson for Tullyvarraga Community Hall, Martina Harrison, says its a staple of the community and will be able to play host to a wide range of events if kept open.
