The Irish Blood Transfusion Service has issued an urgent call for people in Clare to participate in donation clinics.
The service currently has provisions for just 2.8 days of blood supply, well below it’s intended stockpile of seven days.
The IBTS is appealing for all blood types whilst particularly seeking the Type – O variant.

Clinics will take place at the Oakwood Arms Hotel in Shannon this afternoon and tomorrow Thursday from 4pm until 7:15pm.
