Hundreds of Clare farmers are expected to take part in a nationwide protest action today to highlight their concerns over the future of farm families and CAP reforms.
Its being organised by the Irish Farmers Association who are encouraging their members to close their farms for the day and defer sending milk and other produce out.
Many more will be Dublin bound for a mass demonstration which will run from Merion Square to Leinster House with 10 thousand expected to attend
Chairman of the Clare Branch of the IFA Andrew Dundass says members are fearful that cuts will be made to the Common Agricultural Policy which would be devastating for them.
