Up to 1400 students in Clare are receiving their first round CAO offers this morning.

Applicants can check to see if they have received an offer by logging on to their account on the CAO website – points for two thirds of college courses have remained the same or are down on last year.
However there has been a surge in the points required for business and tech jobs.
The Central Applications Office is advising students that accepting an offer in Round One will not prevent them from receiving a later offer, for a course higher up on their preference list.
While, Kilrush Community School Guidance Counsellor Aisling Haugh there's many options available for those who don't receive their first preference.
