The number of people signing on the live register in Clare increased last month for the first time since June.

The CSO says there were 8,067 people claiming some form of unemployment benefit here in October, a monthly increase of almost 150.
There was a small fall in Ennis, and marginal rises in West and East Clare, but the vast majority of the increase has occurred in the North of the county.
The end of the tourist season is being cited as one possible factor.
