A Clare students’ representative insists that Universities must open their eyes to the bigger picture and focus on construction of student accommodation.
President of the TUS Students’ Union, Niall Naughton has expressed concern that those attending universities are struggling emotionally and financially due to dwindling housing supply over the past two years.

Housing Minister Darragh O’Brien recently confirmed that Technological Universities will now be able to borrow funds to build extra accommodation.
Tubber native, Niall Naughton says there’s an onus on both Universities and the Government to urgently put plans in place.
