United Airlines is to expand links between Shannon and Chicago next year.

Having introduced the route for the first time this summer, United will now operate return flights each day from June 17th to August 18th.
Five flights will operate each week from May 23rd to June 16th, and from August 19th to September 1st as well as four each week from September 2nd to 15th.
In all, the new schedule represents an 88 per cent year-on-year increase in seat capacity on the route.
