United Airlines Unwilling To Reverse Shannon Decision

United Airlines has confirmed it will not reverse its decision to suspend transatlantic flights from Shannon this winter.

The airline announced in recent weeks that flights to Newark would not depart from Shannon from November until March due to decreased demand.

Airline management has this week met with Clare’s Junior Jobs Minister Pat Breen to discuss the decision but have said it will stand for 2017.
