Unions Representing Dublin Bus Drivers To Discuss All Out Strike

Unions representing drivers at Dublin Bus are meeting to discuss a possible all-out strike.

They say the industrial dispute will escalate, but that an all-out strike is the 'nuclear option'.

A second forty eight hour Dublin Bus strike is underway. 

And according to SIPTU's Owen Reidy, we could see an all out strike. 

The unions are meeting to discuss an escalation of the strike. 

There hasn't been any progress made with management in the past week. 

Dermot O'Leary from the NBRU hit out at the Transport Minister – saying he never asked Shane Ross to write a cheque, just to help get Dublin Bus to the talks table.

Group Dublin Town estimate footfall in the city is down 10 per cent because of the strikes.

This business owner Martin Gear says they're having a big impact. 

The strike continues with no sign of a resolution being reached any time soon.
