SIPTU officials held talks with Leo Varadkar yesterday where they outlined the worker’s concerns about the impending separation from the Dublin Airport Authority and the possible negative impact it could have on the terms and conditions of up to 200 staff at Shannon.

They are seeking written guarantees from Minister Varadkar.

SIPTU’s Aviation spokesperson Tony Carroll says it was a frank exchange and the Minister is due to come back to them today
