New figures show Ireland’s unemployment rate has dropped to 6-point-7 per-cent, the lowest percentage since July 2008.
According to the Central Statistics Office, the number of people unemployed in Ireland fell by 40-thousand last year – to just over 147-thousand.
Long-term unemployment also fell by 22 per-cent to 79-thousand.
