Tulla Residents Navigating ‘Minefield’ Due To High Levels Of Dog Fouling

Residents of an east Clare town are said to be navigating a ‘minefield’ due to high levels of dog fouling.

The footpath outside an early learning centre in Tulla is reportedly plagued by the issue, while there have been complaints that wheelchair users or those pushing children in buggies also experience particular difficulties travelling through the town.

Tim Humphries of the local Tidy Towns committee claims at the height of the issue, 20 bags of foul were filled from that particular black spot in the town.

He says there’s no silver bullet to resolve the issue and that the responsibility for keeping the locality clean resides with the people of the town to take pride in their area.
