Volodymyr Zelenskyy is due to meet Taoiseach Micheal Martin today around lunchtime in Shannon.
It comes as the Ukrainian President is heading to Washington to meet US President Donald Trump, to discuss a minerals deal between their two countries, as peace talks continue.
Micheál Martin had cancelled a planned trip to Belfast, citing major international news coming in overnight.
It’s now emerged he will meet the Ukrainian President today.
