The President of Ukraine says his country has been invaded by the Russian military.

It follows an assault by pro-Russian forces on a strategically-important town on Ukraine's south-east coast.
President Petro Poroshenko has cancelled a planned trip and called an emergency meeting to discuss what steps Ukraine can take in response.
He's also calling on the UN to intervene.
