Uisce Éireann says it’s not restricting water use yet, but urging customers to be mindful.
It’s issued a national appeal for people to conserve water at home, in the garden and at work.

It says the warm weather is placing additional demands on the network, with 32 schemes across Clare and 11 other counties currently at drought status.
Temperatures are set to reach 27 degrees tomorrow, with highs of up to 28 degrees forecast into Saturday and Sunday.
