Uisce Eireann insists that major corrective measures put in effect at plants in East Clare will ensure no more boil notices are issued for the region.
It comes as the boil water order served for over 1,700 consumers on the Killaloe supply was finally lifted this week following a chlorination issue at the plant almost two months ago.
Uisce Eireann however has now installed extra monitors , alarm systems and will committ to additional testing at both the Killaloe and O’Briensbridge facilities.
