Uisce Eireann Claims New Era Of Investment In Clare Communities Is Underway

Uisce Eireann claims that the new Wastewater Infrastructure unveiled today in Liscannor represents a new era of investment in Clare communities.

The €7million project has delivered a new treatment plant, pumping station and storm water storage tank that will serve a population of 1,790 people in the North Clare region.

The utility is currently in the midst of constructing a new treatment plant in Kilrush, while new wastewater treatment plants in Kilkee and Ballyvaughan are at design stage.

Senior Portfolio Delivery Manager with Uisce Eireann, Michael Tinsley says the developments will allow towns and villages throughout the county to thrive.
