19 of the patietns are on trolleys in the hospital's Emergency Department, with the remainder accomodated in overflow areas of wards.
A new A&E Unit for the hospital is being kitted out, with works beginning in recent days, but management have confirmed that it's planned opening date has now slipped back to early 2017.
