UHL Reaches Highest Levels Of Overcrowding In The Country

Nurses say University Hospital Limerick is experiencing the highest level of overcrowding of any hospital in the country today.

The latest figures from the INMO show 51 patients were waiting for beds this morning, 32 of those in the new emergency department.

It’s 13 more than any other facility in the country – University Hosptial Galway is the second busiest, where 38 people are waiting on admission.
