UHL Overcrowding At Highest Level In Recent Memory

Overcrowding at the the region's main hospital is at one of its highest levels in recent memory.

Figures released by nurses reveal there are 58 people waiting for beds at University Hospital Limerick this afternoon.

42 of these are in the Emergency Department alone, with a further 16 in overflow areas of wards.
