Nurses say the region's main hospital is suffering from one of the highest levels of overcrowding in the country once again today.
The latest figures from the INMO show 38 people are waiting for beds at University Hospital Limerick, 19 of those in the Emergency Department.
Its the second highest in the country, behind South Tipperary General Hospital where 42 people are waiting on admission.
