American Senators have agreed a draft resolution on military action in Syria.

It states that any strikes would have to take place within a 60 day time limit.

Barack Obama can extend that by 30 days unless congress withdraws its approval.

The resolution also says there will be no U.S. soldiers on the ground in combat.

Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin says his country may agree to strikes on Syria, if there’s proof Assad’s regime used chemical weapons.
