Gardai are continuing to question two men in their 20's after a hostage situation in Cork in the early hours of this morning.

A couple in their 50's are receiving tratment at Cork University Hospital after they were freed by armed gardai.
They had been held hostage in their home for around 5 hours when members of the Regional Support unit stormed into the house and overpowered the two men using a taser.
